USDT TRC-20 Transfer Stuck or Pending? What to Check
TRON confirms in seconds, so a “pending” USDT transfer means something else. How to read the TRONSCAN status and fix each case in under a minute.

TRON confirms blocks every ~3 seconds, so a USDT transfer that's "pending" for minutes almost always means something other than a slow network. Here's how to find out what's going on in under a minute.
Step 1: find the transaction on TRONSCAN
Copy the transaction ID (TXID / hash) from your wallet or exchange and search it on TRONSCAN.

| FAILED – OUT_OF_ENERGY | The transfer ran out of energy; USDT didn't move. | Top up TRX or rent energy and send again. Details. |
| Other FAILED status | The contract rejected the transfer (for example a frozen address). | Check the addresses with our blacklist check. |

Step 2: if the transaction isn't on-chain
- Exchange withdrawals go through review first. "Processing" usually means the exchange hasn't sent it yet — only their support can speed it up.
- Wallets sometimes fail to broadcast because of low TRX, no energy or a connection problem. Check that the USDT is still in your balance, fix resources and send again.
Step 3: if TRONSCAN says success but the recipient sees nothing
- Exchanges credit after a number of confirmations and may hold deposits for review. Give them the TXID.
- Wrong network or wrong address: compare the destination on TRONSCAN with the address the recipient gave you. See sent to the wrong network.
- Recipient's wallet doesn't show the token: USDT may need to be added as a token in some wallets. The official contract is on our verify USDT contract page.

Can a TRON transaction be cancelled?
No. Once confirmed, a TRON transaction is final. If it's not on-chain yet (Step 2), it can simply be sent again after fixing the cause.
