TRON Confirmations Explained: When Is a Transfer Final?
TRON blocks come every 3 seconds and become irreversible after about 19 blocks. What confirmations mean and why exchanges can take longer.

TRON adds a new block about every 3 seconds, so transactions show up almost instantly. "Confirmations" is how many blocks have been added on top since — the more there are, the more final the transaction.
Confirmed vs final
- Included (1 confirmation): the transaction is in a block, a few seconds after sending.
- Solidified (irreversible): TRON's 27 Super Representatives take turns producing blocks; once a block has been confirmed by more than two-thirds of them — about 19 blocks, roughly a minute — it can't be reversed.
After that, the transaction is final. There's no "cancel" on TRON.
Why an exchange takes longer
Exchanges set their own confirmation requirements and may add manual or AML review for some deposits. A deposit that's final on-chain can still be "pending" on the exchange. Give support the transaction ID if it takes much longer than their stated time.
How to see confirmations
Open the transaction on TRONSCAN — the page shows its confirmation status. See how to check a transaction on TRONSCAN.
Can a confirmed TRON transaction be reversed?
No. Once solidified it's permanent. The only related control is Tether's ability to freeze USDT on an address — see USDT blacklist.
