How much is the USDT TRC-20 fee in SafePal?
Today about 6.77 TRX (≈ $2.28) if the recipient already holds USDT and 13.37 TRX if they never held it, when the transfer burns TRX. This is the TRON network fee — the same in every wallet. With energy it drops to about 0.34 TRX of bandwidth or less.
Why does SafePal ask for TRX to send USDT?
USDT on TRON is a smart-contract token: every transfer consumes energy and bandwidth, paid in TRX. Keep at least 13.37 TRX in your SafePal TRON address (or have energy), otherwise the transfer fails.
Why is the fee higher to some addresses?
An address that has never held USDT needs a new balance entry in the USDT contract: about 130,285 energy instead of 64,285, so the fee roughly doubles.
Does SafePal set the USDT fee?
The network part is set by TRON (energy and bandwidth prices voted by Super Representatives), not by SafePal. In-app swaps, bridges or energy services can add their own fees — the app shows them before you confirm.
